beam smile co. sells beam on this website and runs an email list. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what we do with what you give us.

what we collect

Your email address — only if you type it into one of our sign-up forms (the list, the discount pop-up, or the footer) and submit it. The quiz at /quiz runs entirely in your browser: your answers aren't stored, and they aren't sent to us or anyone else. If you buy from us, checkout collects your name, email, shipping and billing address, and payment details; checkout is run by Shopify, and we never see your full card number. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate — it is cookie-less and does not identify you; we can see that a page was visited, not who visited it. We do not run advertising trackers. Some videos on the home page are TikTok posts: they load from TikTok only when you press play, and TikTok's own privacy policy covers that player.

what we do with it

Sign-up emails: to send you beam news — new drops, offers, discount codes, and the day new stores open. Order details: to take payment, ship your order, send order and subscription emails, and handle returns. We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

where it lives

Sign-up addresses are stored in a hosted database run by our infrastructure providers (Vercel and Supabase) and copied to Shopify, which sends our emails; new sign-ups also trigger a notification email to us through Resend. Orders and subscriptions live in Shopify. Orders are packed and shipped by Amazon's fulfillment service, which receives your name and shipping address for that purpose only. Each provider processes your information on our behalf and under contract.

getting out

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or you can unsubscribe at beamsmileco.com/unsubscribe. You can also email us at support@beamsmileco.com and ask us to delete your address, and we will.

do not track

We don't track you across other websites, so a browser's “do not track” signal doesn't change anything here.

changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is a big one, we'll email the list too.
